See All ReviewsSo this place I decided to go to on a whim. Let me say I was very surprised. To start the waitress was very attentive something I always look for, I was not disappointed. We ordered a few beers and garlic knots to start. Garlic knots were fantastic. Big chunks of garlic on top with parmesan and oil. Delicious. Then we decided to go with the stuffed pizza not really knowing what it was. It's was pizza crust on bottom and top filled with the 3 toppings you ask for. With that the toppings are not skimped on at all. Well more than one would expect for a pizza. Five stars for great service great food and would definitely recommend and bring my friends back again! Also last bit both sides of the bathroom were very clean.
I spend around $800 a week eating out for my family. They charged a $10 sharing fee to give my 2 year old daughter part of my $16.25 meal. They dont have a kids menu - so you dont really have a choice. What kind of 'family resturaunt' has no kids menu? Never seen this in my life. We ordered a $9 order of muscles that came with 10 muscles (3 of them were empty shells which didnt even have the muscle in it) and they were sitting in what tasted like they were in salty chicken broth. Water tastes like hose water.
Hard to Pronounce, Easy to Like! Based on some of the reviews I've read, one might hesitate to visit Campitiello's. I get that. And, I understand that some of those reviewers have valid issues they experienced. That is to be expected in any restaurant, from time to time. My first question always is this. Did you address your issues with a member of management? Most times that I've ever had a complaint while dining out, I've gotten a fairly satisfactory response from a manager, or owner. Those few times that I have not been received favorably, well, they get one of my honest but brutally frank reviews, plus will never see any of my family, friends or money ever again! Okay, let's get on to business! Right to the point! Fab fiancée and yours truly have visited Campitiello's about 7 times now. Mostly for lunch, but dinner as well. Each time has been very relaxing, with great service and excellent food! Yesterday, we had dinner, seated at the bar. Lovely lady signora had a glass of wine, while I enjoyed a double tall unsweet tea with lemon. Hold me back! Susan P was our server/host for the evening. She has taken care of us before, so we knew what to expect. Susan is always quite pleasant and thorough. She made sure everything was a-okay for us. To help with the ambiance, we enjoyed some wonderful soft music, performed by a talented couple at the front of the place. Their song selections were perfect for a night out, a couple in love or to complete that 'I'm in Italy feeling'... We decided on the Campi Special Pizza prepared New York Style. Now there's a BIG plus in my mind! How do you like your pizza crust? You can get New York Style, Chicago Style, or Sicilian Style. Everybody's gotta be happy with those three choices. We've tried all three and they were all eccellente! The Campi Special Pizza comes LOADED with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onion & green peppers. When I say loaded, I mean loaded. Just the right amount of sauce, cheese and toppings combined to give us THE PERFECT PIZZA! It was delicious! In closing, we have had nothing but stellar service along with perfect Italian cuisine all at very fair prices. I do hope you'll give them a try. Tell them I sent you!
